What kind of insurance defense cases do you accept?

API is staffed and experienced to handle a vast majority of insurance defense cases at a moment’s notice. How do you handle surveillance assignments?

Filling out API’s case request form allows us to gather the information pertinent to initiate surveillance. The information we use to determine the scope of the surveillance include personal information regarding the subject(s), the budget and/or days requested, any specific days of the week or dates the client would like covered, and whether there was prior surveillance. API takes all this information into account to plan the surveillance accordingly. All surveillance is conducted in a legal manner and which does not violate a person’s reasonable expectation of privacy. No illegal requests will be honored.

How do you report your results?

Daily updates on activities are provided to the client. For surveillance, API provides unedited video documentation as well as a professionally written report. For all other investigations, API provides a professionally written report. API’s work product is always ready for presentation in legal settings.

Are you available to testify?

API places the highest degree of priority in being available to testify. API does request having as much notice as possible to prevent the possibility of the same investigator(s) needing to testify for multiple cases on the same day.

What other services do you provide?

API is highly experienced in surveillance, social media/internet investigations, asset checks, statements and interviews, and background investigations.

How much do you charge?

API bills in hourly increments plus expenses. API’s charges are based on the type and scope of the investigation. To receive a detailed rate quote, contact us with your case request. For new clients, we require a retainer arrangement.

Is API affiliated with or take subcontract cases through national investigative agencies?

API is a fully independent investigative agency. By maintaining full autonomy in every level of it operations, API is able to provide the high quality investigations, a direct line of communication with clients, emphasis on customer service, and the prompt delivery of work product our clients deserve.
